Responsibilities

As a Process Developer, you are the engine behind our improvement initiatives. You work closely with production and drive projects that enhance productivity and quality. You are involved from idea to implementation and ensure that our processes are ready for the future.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

  • Driving improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Analyzing process data and KPIs to identify improvement potential.
  • Supporting production to achieve goals with high quality and minimal downtime.
  • Participating in NPI projects and ensuring scalable and efficient production.
  • Developing and documenting processes, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Leading Kaizen activities and change management.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has/is:

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent experience in production/technology.
  • Several years of experience in process development, preferably within industry or automotive.
  • Knowledge of quality systems (APQP/PPAP, IATF 16949).
  • Experience with machinery procurement and production equipment.
  • The ability to understand and communicate technical issues.

JTEKT Column Systems AB is a system supplier that develops, produces, and sells adjustable steering columns, telescopic shafts, and valves to leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, and agricultural machinery in Europe. The company is a market leader in steering columns for heavy vehicles in Europe, a position achieved through successful product development and production. We currently have about 160 employees and a turnover of 45 MEUR. JTEKT Column Systems AB is part of the Japanese JTEKT group, which is a global system supplier to the international automotive industry. We operate according to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. The location is Eskilstuna.
