We are looking for a quality engineer to Kungsörs Mekaniska Verkstad, KMV, who wants to help drive both everyday improvements and future development. In this role, you will be an important part of the quality team, close to production, with the opportunity to grow into the role of quality manager.

The Assignment

You will work broadly, from operational quality work to more strategic issues. You will drive deviation management and root cause analyses, follow up on routines, and develop processes that make the company even stronger. An important part of the assignment is also measurement, documentation, and development of their measurement technology.

In the role, you will, among other things:

• Be responsible for documentation, traceability, and audits
• Develop processes and routines to ensure quality throughout the chain
• Create and follow up on work and control instructions
• Drive and execute the company's deviation management both internally and externally
• Be involved in inquiries for new jobs
• Be responsible for FTI and delivery control

You will work to maintain management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and work towards the goal of ISO 45001/IATF. During internal and external audits, you will take on the role of team captain and guide the organization through the process with a steady hand.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry who wants to take the next step in their career. You have a good understanding of reading drawings and measurement technology, and it is an advantage if you have worked with cutting machining and programming of measuring machines.

As a person, you are analytical and driven but also a team player who enjoys collaborating. You have the ability to see the details but do not lose sight of the whole; you work in a structured and systematic way but also practically and flexibly. Above all, you have the desire to develop, both in the role and as a future leader.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have experience in all aspects of quality work within the manufacturing industry: deviation and root cause work, customer contact, measurement, and programming
• Enjoy solving problems and driving improvements
• Have good communication skills and can support both colleagues and customers in quality issues
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English
