We are now looking for residential support workers for Sverkilsvägen Group Home. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference!
About Sverkilsvägen (Skulltorp) The unit is located in an area with good access to public transport and proximity to services. The operation is situated in a calm and partially nature-close environment, which creates good conditions for well-being and planned activities based on the needs of the target group. Skultorp is one of Skövde's larger districts and is located about eight kilometers south of the center.
About the role In the role of a residential support worker, you will be based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
Your experience and knowledge We prefer that you have relevant education in care and nursing, such as a nursing assistant or support educator (KY/YH). Experience working within LSS operations, especially with individuals diagnosed within the autism spectrum and/or intellectual disabilities, is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, the ability to work in a structured manner, and a professional and respectful approach.
Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is a requirement.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests in mind in everything you do.

Other Employment form: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period, employment is ongoing. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Start date: 8/3 2026, or by agreement.
