Chatty and social 26-year-old guy seeks part-time assistants

I am a young man of 26 years who is now looking for a substitute who can step in for a few months during my regular assistant's sick leave. This may potentially lead to continued work in the summer when my assistants are on vacation.

I have a CP injury that affects my mobility, so I need help with both dressing, hygiene, and transfers. There is a ceiling lift in the apartment, but there may still be some lighter manual lifting. I also have a visual impairment, so a large part of the job consists of interpreting for me.

I thrive best when things are happening. I enjoy meeting people, going out to eat, and watching movies in the cinema. I also like to go and watch both football and hockey live when possible. I also train regularly, at home and in the pool, so it is important that you can swim.

I am looking for a guy or girl who likes to work independently and can help me plan my daily life. You should enjoy working with people and have an understanding of the job as a personal assistant. Your workplace is wherever I am, at home, or out on some activity. The job involves both days, evenings, nights with on-call duty, and weekends. There are 24-hour shifts in the schedule.

You must be smoke-free at work and have good knowledge of Swedish both in speech and writing.

It is a big plus if you have worked as an assistant before, but personal qualities weigh heavily.

A driver's license and driving experience are required as I have access to my own car that is regularly used for activities and medical visits. You should not be afraid to drive in larger cities like Gothenburg.

Working hours:

Day, evening, weekend, and night with on-call duty.

Temporary position with the possibility of extension over the summer.

Criminal Record

To work as a personal assistant with us, you must present an extract from the police criminal record - extract (442.3). It is important to keep in mind that the police processing time can be up to two weeks, so order your record extract as soon as possible. The extract will be requested at a possible interview.
