Maana is looking for a coordinator for the project 'Maana for the Whole City'

Maana is seeking a coordinator for the project Maana for the Whole City in Gothenburg. The project has been running since 2024 and is long-term, with the current assignment starting immediately in 2026 until December 31, 2027.

As a coordinator, you will work together with a colleague in a team of two. Together, you will conduct outreach and preventive social work aimed at girls, focusing on creating safe meeting places in Bergsjön based on the needs of the target group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Outreach and relationship-building work
• Planning and conducting focus groups, workshops, and activities
• Collaboration with stakeholders within Gothenburg City
• Social work in group and activity formats
• Documentation and external representation

We are looking for someone who:

• Shares Maana's values
• Has experience in social work with youth
• Is comfortable in collaboration but also self-driven
• Has a good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing in Swedish

Post-secondary education in social work/pedagogy and experience in non-profit work is an advantage.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

Maana is a feminist, politically and religiously independent non-profit organization. The organization is based in Gothenburg and operates throughout Västra Götaland, as well as having a national support service. Maana currently consists of six full-time employees and 90 volunteers who together receive about 3000 support calls per year through our online support service via chat, website, email, and app. The organization also conducts training aimed at adults who encounter children and youth in various ways. The organization operates according to a three-year strategy, where the activities have clear goals and are continuously monitored.

About the position: Full-time. The position involves daytime work as well as recurring evenings and weekends, as the activities are conducted when the target group is available. Location Gothenburg, with some possibility for remote work. Collective agreement via Unionen.
