We are now recruiting several driven Site Managers at Prowork who want to be part of the team at one of the most exciting players in the earthworks and construction industry in Greater Stockholm!
Are you a driven and engaged leader with experience in the industry and want to be a key player in our exciting projects? Then the role of Site Manager with our client could be something for you!
We are looking for a Site Manager who will play a central role in our projects. With your strong leadership and ability to motivate the team, you will contribute to ensuring that the projects are executed with the highest quality and safety. Our client manages earthworks and construction contracts in-house as well as in execution and total contracts with municipalities, associations, and other companies. Projects are available on the northern and southern sides, and projects are adapted to where you live - as far as it works.
Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities include site management, which means directing and leading the project's workforce and ensuring that timelines are followed and that work is performed according to set goals and standards. Coordination is also an important part, where you act as the coordinating link of the project and ensure that all parts of the project integrate smoothly. Additionally, the role involves supporting the site manager through all stages of the project, from planning to final delivery.
Tasks:
Specific tasks include both planning and production phases. During the planning phase, the Site Manager conducts risk assessments and establishes risk-reducing measures together with the site manager. They also participate in the development of safety and environmental plans, bid reviews, and scheduling. Resources are planned together with the site manager, and necessary permits are applied for.
In the production phase, the Site Manager is responsible for conducting daily safety checks to ensure that the workplace meets all safety standards. You direct and lead daily production, ensure that work follows the schedule, and report and follow up on incidents and accidents. The Site Manager also conducts safety rounds and leads workplace environment meetings, is responsible for purchasing and ordering materials and services, participates in construction meetings, and leads meetings with clients.
During the final stage of the project, the Site Manager conducts a safety review to verify that all safety and environmental measures have been implemented before handover. They also compile documentation for final inspection and project settlement.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who meets the competency requirements below
- At least two years as a Site Manager or similar leadership role in companies in the industry that have worked with the public sector in Stockholm County.
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with AMA and MER. Well-versed in the agreements AB04 / ABT06 and basic knowledge of contract law.
- Good knowledge of construction processes and workplace environment regulations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
- Completed high school education.
- BAS-U, hot work, work on roads.
- Good computer skills and experience working with calculations in Excel.
- Driver's license B.
