We are looking for a project manager in road construction for the Swedish Transport Administration's national road project for the establishment of ATK sites (Automatic Traffic Control).

The assignment is a consulting role based in Gävle.

The scope is estimated to be 50–75%.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The project manager participates in leading and coordinating the work in the national project for the establishment of ATK sites together with assigned project engineers and contractors. The role involves contributing expertise and technical competence in general road engineering and providing support to project management in the governance and follow-up of contracted suppliers regarding time, economy, quality, and environment. The assignment also includes transferring knowledge to the employees of the Swedish Transport Administration regarding the tasks performed within the assignment.

Responsibilities

Participate in TKI assurance in relevant projects

In consultation with the client, distribute, execute, and follow up on project work in accordance with governing and supporting documents

In consultation with the client and central support resources, initiate, prepare, execute, and follow up on the project regarding time, cost, content, quality, safety, work environment, and environment

Participate in the establishment of schedules, calculations, and budgets

Participate in the establishment of necessary agreements with external stakeholders and parties involved

Participate in the development and follow-up of the project's control program

Participate in the development and follow-up of risks in relevant projects

Lead and manage design and contracts

Participate in site visits and inspections

Participate in the preparation of procurements

Answer questions from the public

Coordinate with utility owners

Coordinate construction managers and inspectors

Assist with technical advice in relevant projects

Assist with technical knowledge of the planning process in relevant projects

Requirements (Mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.

Experience working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Driving license B.

At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical area (Project Manager General Road). The work experience must not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

Requirement for 5 years of work experience as a project manager in general road. The work experience must not be older than 15 years. Of the 5 years of work experience required, you must have worked at least 80% of a full-time position as a project manager during the specified period.

Requirement for 5 years of work experience as a project manager from projects that include contracts or design as part of a client organization. The work experience must not be older than 15 years. Of the 5 years of work experience required, you must have worked at least 80% of a full-time position as a project manager during the specified period.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

You should have knowledge and experience of standard agreements regarding AB and ABK.

Requirement for work experience from the development of at least one road plan.

Requirement for work experience from work with at least 15 SO measures (typical case 1) – Small and uncomplicated measures.

Desirable

You have at least 2 years of experience working with ATK. Of the 2 years of work experience required, you must have worked at least 50% of a full-time position.

Have completed training to function as the Client's construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U.

Certification according to TDOK 2018:0371 APV, at least according to the requirements in step 3.0.
