About the position
In the role of sales engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with HVAC consulting firms, property developers, and other players in the construction and installation sector in the Stockholm area. By introducing our solutions and systems early in the planning stages of projects, you contribute to customers achieving more efficient HVAC solutions regarding energy, sustainability, and total economy.
You will combine technical advice and training and actively participate in the early stages of projects to help our customers meet the future requirements of the industry – as well as provide technical support to ensure that our solutions meet the specific needs of customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and developing relationships with customers to ensure our solutions become a natural part of future construction projects
- Participating in projects primarily during the feasibility and design phases, providing technical support and ensuring that solutions meet customer requirements
- Training and presenting our systems and services to customers in a professional and convincing manner
- Working strategically to enter earlier in the sales process and find new business avenues.
Collaborating internally with our teams to develop and adapt solutions to meet customer needs - Providing ongoing feedback on development opportunities for our product, system, and service offerings
The team you will be part of
In this role, you will be a key player in our team under the leadership of business area manager for contracting Kim Berg (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kim-berg/). You will be part of a team that primarily works with property development companies and consulting firms but also collaborates with our experienced sales organization that works with installers and wholesalers. Together, we drive sales forward with a focus on quality, innovation, and long-term solutions to create sustainable and value-creating business for our customers.
Who we are looking for
This is a role for you who enjoys working independently and closely with customers, where you have the opportunity to influence, create business, and drive the sales process forward. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, business-oriented, and has a strong technical interest. You are driven, creative, and skilled at building long-term relationships, while also having the perseverance and patience to work with longer sales cycles.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the industry, for example as an HVAC designer, HVAC engineer, project manager, design manager, assignment manager, energy specialist, or other relevant position
- Good understanding of the various stages of the construction process and its decision-makers
- Good technical understanding of HVAC
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good data and system skills
- Driving license B
