What will you work on?
We are currently building the next generation of our tech stack with GraphQL microservices, Go-based APIs, Next.js, container and cloud-based infrastructure, high scalability, and modern workflows.
As a Tester at Askås, you will be part of the Test & Quality department. You will work closely with developers, support, and project managers, and be involved early in the process to ensure that our features maintain high quality before they reach the customer.
Manual Testing
- Test new features in our platform based on requirements, use cases, and UX.
- Conduct regression testing before releases.
- Identify bugs, analyze behaviors, and write clear bug and error reports.
- Conduct launch tests and customer-specific validations.
Develop Our Tests
- Be involved in building and maintaining automated tests (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
- Collaborate with the Test Lead Developer on testing strategies and coverage goals.
- Help improve existing test protocols and test data management.
- Contribute to structure and order around test cases, test reports, and quality documentation.
Quality Work in the Process
- Work with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and integrations.
- Participate in the analysis and prioritization of incoming bug reports.
- Ensure good communication between testing, development, and support.
- Be involved in improvement work around processes, methodologies, and testing tools.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience in
- Software testing, for example through education, internships, or previous work.
- The ability to work systematically with test cases, use cases, and documentation.
- Communicating and collaborating with developers, support, and project management.
- E-commerce and technical solutions.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
It is a plus if you
- Have experience with API testing (REST or GraphQL), manual testing, and writing clear bug reports.
- Are familiar with tools for automated testing such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Have a basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Have experience with regression or integration testing.
- Have experience with test automation and modern testing processes.
