Do you want to work with developing and managing business-critical systems in a dynamic and operationally close environment?
Nordic Paper is now looking for a structured and service-oriented system administrator who wants to contribute to optimizing our applications and business processes.

The IT department at Nordic Paper is responsible for providing business-supporting IT functions and services and is an important part of Nordic Paper's operations. We now need to strengthen our team with a colleague whose main tasks will be to manage the ERP system. You will be primarily responsible for long-term planning and development of the system as well as developing the system together with the business. In addition, we expect you to ensure that system support is effective, manage contacts with suppliers, and work extensively with testing functions for guaranteed operational reliability.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or solid experience in system development and programming. You should also have experience in project management. Experience in system administration and maintenance systems is also a merit.

To thrive with us, you possess good communication skills, and you should be able to explain complex and complicated systems in an easily understandable way for all our users, being fluent in Swedish both spoken and written, as well as having good knowledge of English. The IT department is a support function, and the company's other employees are our customers. Therefore, it is required that you are service-minded, have a positive attitude, and a willingness to collaborate with both your closest colleagues and other employees within the company.

We also believe that you have a drive and a strong desire to improve the business by quickly understanding how different parts of the business are interconnected, thus having the ability to see the whole picture. Own initiatives are appreciated, as well as a structured and long-term approach to work.

  • Travel within Scandinavia may occur.
  • The final candidate will undergo alcohol and drug testing as well as a background check.

About the employment

The position is full-time, permanent, based in Karlstad. Start date according to agreement.
