About the Role

As a business consultant in cybersecurity, you are the one who helps clients move from insight to action. Our clients are at different stages of their security work and need support in creating clarity around what is relevant for their specific business – and how to take the next step in a structured and sustainable way.

You lead client assignments from start to finish. Often, the work begins with a current state analysis or feasibility study that results in a clear roadmap, decision basis, and concrete recommendations for management and stakeholders. After that, you support the client in translating strategic decisions into practical implementation by establishing working methods, structures, and priorities that work in everyday life.

The role is clearly business-oriented. You work at the intersection of business, IT, and security and play a central role in the dialogue with, for example, IT managers, management teams, and other decision-makers. You are not a technical specialist, but you understand the whole and can translate complex security issues into a language that creates understanding, engagement, and progress.

You are often responsible for multiple clients simultaneously and build long-term relationships where assignments develop over time. Initially, you will receive established assignments, and the role also includes further developing collaborations by identifying new needs and opportunities together with the client.

To Succeed in the Role

We are looking for a senior and confident person with strong business understanding. To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a change leader, project manager, or business developer in contexts where IT, digitalization, or security has been a natural part
• Previously worked in a consulting role or in a leading/coordinating position
• Experience in independently driving assignments or projects from start to finish
• Good understanding of how IT support, systems, processes, and information interact in an organization
• Ability to distinguish between technical measures and organizational or strategic initiatives
• Experience in preparing decision bases and presenting recommendations to management or decision-makers
• Relevant academic degree in, for example, technology, economics, or another area that provides you with a solid analytical foundation, or equivalent work experience
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is highly meritorious if you have:

• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity or information security
• Understanding of cybersecurity risks from a business perspective
• Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as the ISO/IEC 27000 series or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Experience in risk analysis, risk management, or compliance work
