About us

Welcome to Närhälsan Mariestad Health Center.

We are looking for an initiative-taking colleague who wants to help further develop our operations. We are part of the public health centers in Västra Götaland and have a catchment area of over 14,600 registered patients. We have both acute and planned operations as well as nurse-led clinics. We have a good collaboration with the regional healthcare, Närhälsan's rehabilitation clinic, and the municipality.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming atmosphere. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT doctors as well as medical students, which is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example through continuous further education of ten days per year.

If you have a particular area of interest you wish to work with, we will try to accommodate this as well, depending on the possibilities of the operations.

About you

You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in the field of general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. If you are a licensed physician with a strong interest in the field of general medicine, we also welcome your application. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale, are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good approach. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
