We are now looking for summer substitutes at Nytida Sorbus for our staff in care work both during the day and at night, as well as kitchen staff.

About Nytida Sorbus Nytida Sorbus is a care home that caters to individuals with Huntington's disease and younger people with various forms of dementia. We have specialist competence in the field and aim to provide the best care and support for our target group. Through clear individual implementation plans and attentiveness to the wishes of the residents and their relatives, we create a meaningful everyday life together. We believe in participation, clear routines, and a respectful approach with a focus on the person with the illness.

The facility, built in 2022, has 12 apartments where the outdoor environment is brought in through generous windows to create a bright and pleasant indoor environment. The apartments consist of a bedroom/living room, a bathroom with a washing machine, a small kitchenette, and private access to a patio or balcony.

We are located in a picturesque environment at the edge of an existing residential area, adjacent to nature in Skene. Accessibility is good with proximity to a bus stop. Guest parking is available for those who arrive by car.

At Nytida Sorbus, there are 25 staff members including nursing assistants and support staff working day, evening, and night shifts. In addition, we have nurses available around the clock, access to occupational therapists and physiotherapists as needed and for planned visits. Your experience and knowledge We believe that you who apply to us:

Care staff:

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked a few years in care and support. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.

Kitchen staff:

We prefer that you have training in nutrition and experience in large-scale kitchens or other forms of cooking kitchens. We place great emphasis on cooking as our residents have different needs for consistency adaptation and nutrition-adjusted food.
