Welcome to Närhälsan Sörhaga Health Center! Here, 25 dedicated employees work in various professional categories.

Currently, we have approximately 8,100 registered patients of different ages, and we work together to best meet our patients' needs.

The health center is centrally located in Alingsås with close access to Alingsås Hospital. From central Gothenburg, it takes about 40 minutes to reach us. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and there is a bus stop right outside. If you drive, there are good parking options that are also free. The health center is also near green areas, including Nolhaga Park, which is perfect for lunch walks.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities and cover the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-focused in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the business forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also included in your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in primary care and/or have a mentorship education of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a new graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and willing to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We hope you have an interest in digitalization and business development.

Travel in the service may occur; a B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection is done in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. After that, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
