• Nursing assistants for night shifts.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant at Båtmansgärdet, you are a key person in our tenants' lives. You work based on the national values of elderly care, where self-determination, safety, and meaningfulness are central.

You will:

• Strengthen the tenant's abilities and resources.
• Assist with personal care, cleaning, and laundry.
• Support during meals and social activities.
• Document efforts and follow up on needs.
• Perform health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals in the team.

Qualifications

Are you the one we are looking for?

• We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and want to work in a care home. You have a genuine interest in people and are driven to make a difference 💫.
• You should be interested in working with development and change, have good collaboration skills, initiative, and be able to work independently.
• It is important that you are interested in people, have a strong commitment, see opportunities, have a sense of responsibility, and focus on the individual needs of the users.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills, are required.

Meritorious:

• It is meritorious if you have further training in dementia care or previous experience working with dementia care.
• A driving license is meritorious but not a requirement; however, you should be able to get to and from work in the evenings and weekends when public transport is less frequent.
