We are now looking for an engaged and experienced Data Privacy Manager for our legal department in Stockholm. In this key role, you will develop and maintain our data protection framework, promote a strong data protection culture, and serve as the central point of contact for privacy issues within our Swedish subsidiaries.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies in accordance with GDPR and national laws.
• Stay updated on changes in data protection legislation and advise the business on necessary adjustments.
• Ensure that all necessary data protection documentation including privacy policies, records of processing activities (RoPA), data processing agreements (DPA), and procedures for handling data subjects' rights are in place, accurate, and regularly updated.
• Conduct impact assessments and guide on Privacy-by-design regarding data protection (DPIA) for new projects and systems.
• Develop and deliver data protection training for employees.
• Provide guidance and support to business units on data protection issues, including advice on DPA and handling requests for data subjects' rights (DSAR).
• Identify and assess data protection risks, and propose and implement risk-reduction strategies in consultation with Risk & Compliance.
• Support the incident management team in the event of personal data incidents.

Attributes and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in data protection, a solid commercial understanding, and good communication skills with various stakeholders. You are structured, proactive, and accustomed to driving projects. Furthermore, we see that you:

• Hold a Swedish law degree or equivalent education assessed as comparable.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in data protection matters.
• Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Previous experience from a law firm or consultancy.
• Experience working in a global organization.
• Experience in a project management role.
• Experience conducting gap analyses from a data protection perspective.

The position is based at Azets headquarters, in our newly renovated premises at Gävlegatan 22 in Stockholm, with relocation after the turn of the year. You will report to the Head of Legal. Start date is according to agreement. We look forward to receiving your application.
