Do you want to help create a safe and legally secure school environment where we learn and grow together? We are now looking for an investigator in school law for the education office – a role where you have the opportunity to influence the development of schools through your own work but also through collaboration and shared learning. The pace of change in school legislation and regulations is increasing, which is why we are expanding with an additional investigator.

Within the education office's systematic quality work, we work with data-driven improvement efforts, ensuring and further developing the educational journey of children and students through qualitative and quantitative analyses.
 

Responsibilities:

- Handle complaints and authority cases, for example from the School Inspectorate, BEO, JO, and DO.
- Approve and supervise independent preschools within the municipality
- Provide legal support/train principals, operational managers, and school administrative staff
- Further develop guidelines and system support that create conditions for making clear decisions.
- Monitor the external environment
 

Who are you?

Requirements:
- University degree in public administration, political science, social sciences, law, or equivalent experience
- Well acquainted with the governing documents within the school and the fundamentals of quality work.
- Experience working in school law
- Experience in investigative work
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Meritorious:
- Experience from public sector work
- Experience in supervisory work
- Familiarity with clear communication and providing support and professional development to others

Personal qualities:
- Analytical and able to structure, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Takes personal responsibility and works independently
- Persistent and motivated even in challenges
- Good collaborative skills, attentive, and communicates constructively
