At Norlandia Elderly Care, we are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/care assistant and want to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Timansstenar elderly home in Sölvesborg. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Typical tasks may include assisting with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's a very exciting job!

Timansstenar is a modern elderly home beautifully located in the scenic Ljungaviken by the sea. The facility has 60 apartments distributed across 6 departments focusing on somatic care and dementia. There is a sunroom, spa, and a lovely garden with an orangery that we enjoy during the summer. You can easily reach us within walking distance from the train with a lovely walk over the bridge.

As a summer temp at Norlandia, you will have access to Cappy – an app that keeps you updated on working hours and salary in real time. You can see preliminary salary and how extra shifts affect your pay, can withdraw up to 50% of earned salary if needed (hourly employees; 29 SEK/withdrawal, no credit/interest), and have access to training in personal finance.

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is an advantage if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• Previous experience in elderly care is highly meritorious.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We also prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026 or by agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a potential employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
