Working as a Psychologist at WeMind

At WeMind, we provide psychological treatment in an evidence-based, structured, and manualized manner, and we measure treatment outcomes to ensure that patients receive the right treatment. It requires skill to adapt the manual and your approach to the often complex patients we encounter in psychiatry. Main responsibilities:

• Assessment

• Evaluation - part of the baseline assessment for new patients, prior to their participation in various interventions and during renewed care planning

• Treatment - ranging from psychoeducational interventions in groups to individual CBT treatments

Your new workplace

WeMind Nynäshamn is a general psychiatric outpatient clinic for patients in need of specialized psychiatric care. The clinic employs 15 people in the professions of specialist physicians in psychiatry, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and our administrative team. Together, the team puts the patient at the center, and you can rely on your colleagues' competence, availability, and social community.

The clinic is located in Nynäshamn Hospital, and our employees commute smoothly, taking 30 minutes from Haninge or 60 minutes from central Stockholm. It is important to us to be a flexible employer with the possibility of some remote work.

About you

• Licensed psychologist with work experience in psychiatry

• Strong interest in and education in CBT for various psychiatric diagnoses

• Experience and interest in neuropsychiatric assessments

• Interest and education in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus

You are used to working independently and enjoy taking initiative and developing the work forward. At the same time, you are flexible and value participation and collaboration with other professional groups. You have a positive attitude and find the social work environment and team spirit important.
