As a nurse with us, you will work both independently and in a team in a structured emergency service. The mission is to provide safe, professional, and accessible psychiatric care to patients with acute and urgent needs.

You will be responsible for counseling, psychiatric assessments, and coordination of care interventions in close collaboration with emergency doctors and other professionals.

WeMind Liljeholmen's emergency unit is a central part of our psychiatric outpatient care and takes care of patients with acute and urgent psychiatric needs outside regular opening hours.

The position is a full-time employment where you, together with the team, staff the emergency unit during regular opening hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00.

• Staffing the emergency phone with advisory and supportive conversations with patients and relatives

• Assessment and triage of patients with mental health issues, including suicide risk assessments

• Participation in emergency doctor visits and independent follow-up of patients

• Home visits when assessment is needed due to deterioration

• Establishment and updating of care and crisis plans

• We are looking for someone who is:

  • Licensed nurse (requirement)

  • Specialist nurse in psychiatry (meritorious)

  • Has several years of experience from similar work in psychiatry (meritorious)

  • Holds a B driver's license (requirement)

  • Has experience with TeleQ and TakeCare (requirement) and Kontek (meritorious)

  • Confident in working independently as well as in a team

  • Confident in phone and video-based assessments

  • Confident in conversations regarding crisis and suicide risk

  • Used to prioritizing and making decisions in dialogue with emergency doctors

  You have a professional and respectful approach, always putting the patient at the center and ensuring good quality in care. You are responsible, structured, and have a good ability to plan and organize your work in a varied everyday life.
