Welcome to us

Sabbatsbergsbyn is a special accommodation with 106 apartments distributed over 11 departments in three buildings in central Stockholm between S:t Eriksplan and Odenplan.

Nine departments are residences for those with a diagnosed dementia disease, and two departments are for those who, for physical reasons, need care and support around the clock. In the Garden of the Senses nearby, we meet for barbecues, gymnastics, entertainment, and coffee breaks. We are looking for a registered nurse who wants to help drive high-quality care and support focused on our residents!

Your role

You have a role as a care-responsible nurse (OAS) where you have the overall responsibility for ensuring that health and medical care is provided with maintained quality and patient safety. The focus of health and medical care should be health-promoting and person-centered, with a cross-professional and process-oriented approach. You will lead and distribute nursing work on the department for which you are responsible. This involves close collaboration with basic staff, rehabilitation managers, the operational manager, and the MAS (Medically Responsible Nurse).

In addition to the daily work on the department, the care-responsible nurse (OAS) is responsible for the cross-professional team meetings that occur regularly. These meetings provide space for deepening knowledge and exchanging experiences between professions. There is also a collaboration plan for the nursing group with joint meetings for the distribution of responsibilities and follow-up of routines.

Every week, a round is conducted together with a doctor where the care-responsible nurse (OAS) prepares and prioritizes cases within their department. All licensed staff are part of the HSE group that collaborates continuously under the leadership of the operational manager.

You are meticulous in your work and have good collaboration skills as you work closely with others in the organization. You take personal responsibility and work with care in everything you do. You also have the ability to be flexible and prioritize when circumstances change. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
