Psychiatry Southern Stockholm is hiring part-time nurses

Psychiatry Southern Stockholm strives to be a leading example in Swedish psychiatry.

We do this by working person-centered, offering the right competence for the patient's needs, emphasizing the application of evidence-based guidelines and care programs. We continue to invest in development work in the areas of patient safety, care processes, and our most important resource, our employees. We are over 1000 dedicated employees who provide patients with good, safe, and equal care.

Now we are entering a new era! In the autumn of 2025, the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO) started Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that gathers all psychosis outpatient and inpatient care units within SLSO into a common operation.

We are expanding our operations and need to hire more part-time nurses! In the spring of 2026, we will broaden our mission and also serve the municipalities of Nacka and Värmdö.

About the Psychiatric Emergency Reception Rosenlund

The reception offers assessment and advice for all citizens who turn to Psychiatry Southern Stockholm. The unit consists of about 30 employees; doctors, nurses, caregivers, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

We conduct acute psychiatric assessments and provide care interventions every day of the year from 8 AM to 10 PM.

In the emergency phone, you will assess psychiatric status including suicide assessment, triage, provide support, advice, and guidance to patients, relatives, caregivers, etc. In the evenings and weekends, you are primarily a lead nurse. We strive to have at least two nurses on each shift.

Independently or with a doctor, acute mobile assessments in the patient's home also occur.

Documentation takes place in the Take Care journal system.
