Are you training to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist and have a strong interest in geriatrics? Then this position might be for you!

We are looking for rehabilitation assistants for summer positions in our team at Paramedicine Handengeriatriken. We have a total of 56 care places, divided into two departments. Department 1 is an acute geriatric care department, and department 3 focuses on rehabilitation, stroke, and orthopedics. We have relatively short lengths of stay. Admissions occur from acute hospitals but also directly from ambulances, health centers, and homes. The work is varied, team-based, and sometimes involves a high pace. Our paramedical group consists of occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, and speech therapists.

Job Responsibilities

On behalf of and after assessment by a licensed occupational therapist/physiotherapist, perform occupational therapy/physiotherapy treatments and tasks. The work is conducted close to patients in interdisciplinary teams with a lot of contact with relatives. Documentation is done in TakeCare.
