DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION

Byle Gård is a specialized palliative care unit located on the outskirts of Täby Kyrkby. The unit has 18 beds for palliative inpatient care. Patients come here by referral. We mainly care for patients with advanced cancer but also other diagnosis groups in the end-of-life stage. We work in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers.

With us, you will join an experienced and competent team with extensive experience in palliative care. We believe that teamwork and collaboration are important. The unit strives to be at the forefront of specialized palliative care. Many of your future colleagues are specialists in palliative care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We work according to the values of palliative care. Proximity, wholeness, knowledge, and empathy, where the patient's physical, psychological, existential, and social needs are at the center. With us, you will work in a team with varying tasks based on the patients' different needs. You should enjoy working closely with patients and be flexible in your professional role.

With us, you will work as a nurse in a palliative unit for end-of-life care with cheerful, competent colleagues who have a great interest in palliative care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Nursing education preferably with a few years of experience in medical or palliative care.

SALARY

Hourly wage, collective agreement exists

START DATE

2026-06-01. Employment may occur continuously during the application period.
