The position belongs to a well-established Nordic energy producer focused on robust and fossil-free power generation. The business plays an important role in the Nordic energy system and is characterized by long-term thinking, security, and technical expertise.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of investment projects within hydropower. The projects mainly involve modernization and upgrading of existing facilities with a focus on electrical and automation systems.

You will lead projects throughout their lifecycle – from feasibility studies and technical requirements to implementation, follow-up, and supplier dialogue. The work is carried out in close collaboration with technical experts, other project managers, project sponsors, and support functions such as purchasing and finance. As a project manager, you are responsible for planning, progress, coordination, and ensuring delivery according to set goals.

The size and complexity of the projects vary. They can involve smaller upgrades, such as HMI or relay protection replacements, to larger investment projects where entire electrical and control systems are replaced. Often, you will manage several projects in parallel, with a balanced mix of more extensive and simpler assignments. Travel is part of the job and is planned according to the needs of the projects, focusing on presence at the site during critical moments.

You will be part of an experienced project management team where knowledge exchange, collaboration, and support are a natural part of everyday life. • University degree or master's degree in a relevant technical field

• Several years of work experience as a project manager, technical specialist, or designer

• Experience from electrical, power, and/or automation projects

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
