The position belongs to a well-established Nordic energy producer focused on robust and fossil-free power generation. The company plays an important role in the Nordic energy system and is characterized by long-term commitment, security, and technical expertise.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the execution of investment projects within hydropower. The projects mainly involve modernization and upgrading of existing facilities with a focus on electrical and automation systems.

You will lead projects throughout their lifecycle – from feasibility studies and technical requirements to execution, follow-up, and supplier dialogue. The work is carried out in close collaboration with technical experts, other project managers, project sponsors, and support functions such as purchasing and finance. As a project manager, you will be responsible for planning, progress, coordination, and ensuring delivery according to set goals.

The size and complexity of the projects vary. They can range from smaller upgrades, such as HMI or relay protection replacements, to larger investment projects where the entire electrical and control system is replaced. Often, you will manage several projects simultaneously, with a balanced mix of more extensive and simpler assignments. Travel is part of the job and is planned based on project needs, focusing on presence at the facility during critical moments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field

• Several years of work experience as a project manager, technical specialist, or designer

• Experience in electrical, power, and/or automation projects

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
