We are looking for a logistics engineer with experience in automation who wants to drive the development of innovative automation solutions and contribute to streamlining material flows. Welcome with your application!

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an automation engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing the logistics systems of the future, from idea to finished solution. You will work on everything from feasibility studies and process design to project management and commissioning, with a particular focus on automation and smart, data-driven flows. We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who wants to work on customer implementation, and we would like you to have experience in areas such as robotics.

Examples of tasks:

  • Implement future material flows and associated processes and documentation with a focus on automation
  • Initiate and drive feasibility studies for new automation projects in line with the factory's master plan
  • Design efficient logistics processes according to lean manufacturing principles and collaborate with stakeholders to anchor requirements and solutions
  • Develop strategies to optimize routines, reduce waste, and lower logistics costs
  • Ensure coordination and common working methods with other factories within the group
  • Deliver analyses and decision-making support to regional logistics projects

You will become part of a team of 10 people. The team is characterized by collaboration, a fast pace, and a clear technical focus. You are self-assured and enjoy working independently but with close support from colleagues.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Experience in automation within logistics flows
  • Strong interest in technology and automation development
  • University degree in production, logistics, or equivalent
  • Good computer skills, especially in Excel
  • Experience in data analysis, simulation, optimization, and visualization, preferably with basic programming skills
  • Advantageous to have knowledge in discrete event simulation
  • Experience in logistics environments, material supply, and handling
  • Ability to communicate clearly, drive change, and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience working with IS/IT tools in logistics is a merit
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that after about 12 months you will be directly employed by the client.
