The Position

The position is a part-time, temporary employment paid by the hour, with immediate start or as agreed.

Your Assignment

As a substitute, you need to step in at short notice, during parts of the day, full days, or longer periods. You will support where needed, based on the day's activities and the conditions of the operations. The assignment involves working with students in grades F-6 and varies between working in leisure time and as a substitute teacher.

During the school day, you will be a present and active substitute teacher in the classroom. You will follow instructions and teach students based on a given plan. Others are responsible for the methods, planning, and development of teaching materials.

As a substitute in the leisure time activities, you will actively participate and support various leisure activities. You will receive tasks and instructions from the regular leisure staff on site. Together, you are responsible for the students' safety and activities during breaks and carry out fun and educational activities both outdoors and indoors. You are a secure and present adult who takes care of and plays with the students.

Your Experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• high school education
• good digital competence with experience in using digital educational tools
• very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you also have:

• experience working with children in schools and/or preschools or as a leader in sports associations
• high school education with a focus on child and leisure
• experience working with students who need extra adaptations and special support.

You find it easy to collaborate, communicate, and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You understand the importance of quickly building relationships, creating security, and being a good role model for the students. You work independently and take responsibility for your assignment while also supporting others and taking your own initiatives both in the classroom and in leisure activities, always with the students' and the operations' best interests in focus. The role requires you to be flexible, adaptable, and available. You answer the phone and can quickly get to Järla School. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
