Welcome to the Björna School District!

We have activities in four different school units: Björna, Gideå, Hemling, and Trehörningsjö.

There are after-school programs, preschool classes, and primary schools with students from preschool to grade nine.

In our school district, we primarily work in an age-integrated manner. The class sizes are small, creating a close-knit and familiar atmosphere in the schools.

Job Responsibilities

You will work as a teaching assistant in a special education group at Björnaskolan. There is a qualified teacher responsible for the instruction in the group. You will provide support in the teaching process. You will belong to the F-6 work team and may participate in additional tasks based on needs and competencies.

You will join a school with experienced colleagues where you collectively in the work team are responsible for driving and developing the pedagogical work by planning, implementing, and following up on instruction with the curriculum and municipal goals as guidelines.

The position is a fixed-term employment for the spring term of 2026 to begin with.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma from the Child and Leisure Program or other education deemed suitable by the employer. You should have good pedagogical skills and a positive attitude towards our students. Even if you have other qualifications, you are welcome to apply.
