Teacher of Swedish for Immigrants at Arena Utbildning Örnsköldsvik

Teaching positions 100% Immediate start, probationary employment based in Örnsköldsvik.

Arena Utbildning is an educational company that conducts adult education on behalf of municipalities and the Employment Service, as well as MYH (higher vocational education), in; Swedish for immigrants, basic and upper secondary theoretical courses, as well as vocational training in Health and Care, Child and Leisure, Warehouse and Logistics, Dental Assistant. We operate in over 60 locations across Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Umeå/Örnsköldsvik in the north.

Together with us at Arena Utbildning, you will help build the future of adult education in Swedish for immigrants. You have the commitment and drive to help develop and expand Arena Utbildning within your areas of responsibility, as well as create the best possible conditions for our students to achieve their goals. This means you have good collaboration skills, a coaching approach, and are interested in working in a multicultural environment.

As an SFI teacher, you play a very important role in our organization, as language is the key to our students succeeding in their future studies, professional, and social life. You will be part of a competent teaching team with engaged colleagues. At both local and national levels, development work is ongoing in areas such as digitalization, pedagogy, methodology, and didactics. Within SFI, we work, for example, with vocational integration, vocational coloring, and study visits, to place language/language use in various contexts and authentic situations.
