Substitute Teacher in Mathematics and Physical Education at Nolaskolan

Örnsköldsviks Gymnasium has two school buildings, Parkskolan and Nolaskolan.

We have over 1800 students studying in five college preparatory programs and ten vocational programs, as well as introductory programs and adapted upper secondary school. Örnsköldsviks Gymnasium has been designated as a training school, which means that student teachers are a regular feature in the school.

Nolaskolan's central location in the city makes it easy to reach the workplace by both train and bus.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a substitute teacher who can teach mathematics and physical education during the spring term. The position is located at Nolaskolan, and a large part of the teaching takes place in the economics program. It may be possible to split the position into two parts if you do not have subject qualifications for both subjects.

Your work includes teaching, planning, documentation, and contact with students and guardians. The assignment also involves participating in collaborative work with subject and work teams.

The job responsibilities often include mentoring a number of students. This involves a significant responsibility to follow up and support your mentees and to actively participate in student health work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher at the upper secondary level with subject qualifications in mathematics and physical education, or alternatively, other experience or competence deemed sufficient by the employer.
