Your New Workplace

Stöde School is a K-9 school located about a 40-minute drive west of Sundsvall.

The school has around 260 students and an after-school program with nearly 100 children. We are about 40 employees working together in various roles. At Stöde School, we develop together with a focus on the future - aiming to be a stable and secure knowledge hub for both students and staff. Our organization is characterized by short decision-making paths, joy at work, great engagement, and a strong desire to make an impact. We have a well-functioning student health work where all professions collaborate to ensure every student succeeds.

Your Contribution as a Teacher

We are looking for a licensed and experienced teacher for our special education group for grades 7-9. The position is aimed at those who have a strong commitment to students with different needs and who create conditions for learning with clarity, structure, and good relationships. In the special education group, you will work with students who need adapted teaching in a smaller and more structured learning environment. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on each student's individual needs and work closely with colleagues, student health, and guardians.

Your Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed teacher for grades 7-9.
• is relationship-oriented, secure, and clear in your pedagogical leadership.
• has extensive experience working with students with different needs, such as NPF, mental health issues, or significant adaptation needs.
• has broad subject competence, preferably in mathematics and/or science subjects.
• has a good ability to clarify and specify teaching through various pedagogical adaptations, visual support, structure, and alternative working methods.
• is flexible, solution-focused, and sees opportunities rather than obstacles.
• has good collaboration skills and contributes to a professional and unpretentious work environment.
