Job Description

In this position, you will have a broad and exciting everyday life where you alternate between operational work and planning/development. Your main tasks will include:

• working as an operating room nurse with instrumentation during surgeries.
• contributing to process management and development of workflows.
• working with surgical planning and coordination.
• managing purchases related to the operating department, focusing on quality, needs, and cost-effectiveness.
• also working in an outpatient environment, with patient contact and coordination around the patient’s care process.

You will be part of an engaged team where collaboration is a given. Here, you work closely with several professions both during surgeries and in the surgical outpatient clinic. All with a common focus: safe care, good workflows, and a secure patient experience. We help each other, share knowledge, and appreciate colleagues who contribute with drive and solution focus.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, further educated in surgery, and have experience in process management, surgical planning, and preferably also purchasing for the operating department.

As you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You also need to be able to handle various IT systems to perform daily care work.

You have good collaboration skills and find it easy to prioritize, maintain structure, and manage many parallel tasks – without losing the overall perspective. As a person, you are communicative, flexible, and enjoy having an active role in the collaboration between different professional groups. You thrive on patient contact and have a professional demeanor, even when there is a lot to do. You enjoy when the workday includes both practical work and coordination – and you see opportunities where others see obstacles.
