Who are we?

Our main mission at the care and nursing office is to meet the needs for support, care, and assistance for people at different stages of life, and to make a difference in these encounters. We are also responsible for providing meals to preschools, schools, and the operations of the care and nursing office. With our approximately 4000 employees, we are the municipality's second largest office.

The office has a shared responsibility to lead the operations towards set goals and create a meaningful and safe everyday life for all those in need of our help. The foundation of our work is a person-centered approach where the work is guided by the user's needs.

The nursing team takes over when the office's day nurses go home for the day. Currently, the group consists of 30 nurses/community nurses who work only evenings/nights, responsible for all health and medical care in Norrköping municipality.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work together with other nurses in a competent and pleasant team that performs both planned and emergency interventions within regular, special housing, and VPF. You will visit patients independently or together with a colleague when there is a need for two.

You will perform targeted interventions and do not have primary responsibility for the patients. You will alternate between working in the field and sitting in TeleQ.

In the evening and night nursing team, you will work with a fixed schedule and work two weekends out of six. Working hours are from 16:30 to 05:00 and 18:30 to 07:00 shifts.

The weekly working time is 34.2 hours, distributed over 12.5-hour shifts. This means approximately 8 working shifts every 3 weeks. The schedule is distributed as much as possible according to your preferences for how you want to arrange your shifts, as everyone has different schedules with us.

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse or community nurse. We prefer that you have experience working as a nurse.

To thrive with us, you need to be able to perform home visits independently. You can organize and plan your work. You are calm and flexible as a person since interventions are both planned and emergency.

You make your own decisions and adapt your actions according to the situation, always striving for high quality in care. At the same time, you recognize the patient's needs and create safety and trust in the encounter with each individual.

You are skilled in collaborating with others, humble, and see the equal value of all people as a given. You communicate clearly and can master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

As we work directed towards all our units, you need to feel secure in your professional role.

A requirement for the position is a B driver's license.
