Our offer

The Cardiology Clinic in Norrköping is part of the Heart Center in Östergötland.

We provide emergency and planned specialized cardiological care and treatment for the residents of the eastern part of the county, with an emergency catchment area of over 180,000 inhabitants. In December 2020, we moved into new premises with HIA and a ward totaling 18 beds. We have a well-functioning heart clinic and an outpatient department for patients undergoing procedures such as coronary angiography or electrical cardioversion. We conduct a broad cardiological operation within all cardiological subspecialties and have a strong focus on quality, knowledge development, and good collaboration.

Job description

At the cardiology clinic in Norrköping, we offer a 5-year specialist training in the base specialty of cardiology. Together with your personal supervisor and the clinic's ST study director, you will develop an individual training plan.

The position includes work in HIA, heart ward, and outpatient clinic within all cardiological subspecialties. External rotations occur at the physiological clinic in Norrköping, the Medicine Clinic in Norrköping, ICU, and the cardiology clinic in Linköping. Supervision and teaching of AT doctors and other doctors in training, other staff categories, and students are prioritized activities. The clinic's doctors are part of the staffing of the emergency department and the hospital's internal medicine on-call line.

Work group

About you

Swedish medical license and good knowledge of the Swedish language, at least level C1.

We are looking for someone who is knowledge-driven and works efficiently and focused in acute situations. You have the patient in focus and possess good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are good at structuring and prioritizing your work. Pedagogical skills and scientific interest are qualities we value. Experience in cardiology is an advantage, and great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
