Do you want to improve the everyday life, future, and quality of life for the residents of Linköping? With us, you can combine important tasks with a meaningful everyday life. Welcome to us!

Your Responsibilities

As part of our commitment to providing high-quality care and support, we are now seeking six occupational therapists for temporary positions within the Health and Care Administration's health care organization.

As an occupational therapist, you will take on a central role focusing on enabling individual independence. Your responsibilities include assessments, personal assistive device prescriptions, housing adaptations, and rehabilitation for patients in both ordinary housing and care homes. Collaboration extends across various professions, including physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff.

The work consists of varied tasks and patient groups, providing opportunities for diversity and challenges in the job. The work also includes documentation and administration.

Your Workplace

The temporary position runs from 2026-06-08 to 2026-08-14, with work during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. Your workplace will be located at Ålerydsvägen 7 in Linköping. Here you will have the opportunity to not only perform meaningful work but also be an active part of a larger team that promotes knowledge exchange and development.

Occupational therapists within the Health and Care Administration work in health care and are active in both open care forms and care homes. Our primary mission is to offer the municipality's citizens quality-assured care in the rehabilitation area. In our operations, several different professions work together, such as nurses, nursing assistants with various specialist training, as well as physiotherapists and other occupational therapists.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist or are about to become one. It is advantageous if you have experience working with elderly individuals or as an occupational therapist.

The work involves a lot of patient contact and documentation, which means we require you to communicate orally and in writing in the Swedish language. You should be computer literate and preferably have experience documenting in journal systems, such as Treserva. You need to be able to cycle and also have a B driver's license for manual transmission, as cycling/driving in the service occurs.

We are looking for someone who is proactive in their work and can plan and prioritize their tasks independently. You have a flexible working style and can adapt based on the needs and changes of the organization. In your interactions with patients and colleagues, you are solution-focused and attentive, maintaining a professional attitude. You find it easy to collaborate with others but can also take initiative and be involved in the development of the organization.
