Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Care Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by the individual at the center to meet individual needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

The home healthcare in Motala Municipality consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants. We work in teams together with elderly care, LSS operations, and daily activities for the best of our citizens.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your work consists of both planned and urgent interventions. You make medical assessments, perform treatments, and are responsible for nursing measures. An important part of the role is also to support the nursing staff in the operations you supervise, guide, and delegate as needed to ensure safe and secure care. Document according to applicable guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has a B driver's license

Experience in municipal health and medical care is an advantage but not a requirement.

• have a calm and professional demeanor
• enjoy variety, teamwork, and supporting other professional roles
