Intelligence and Security Department

The Intelligence and Security Department is part of the staff and coordinates security protection services under the security chief.

Main Responsibilities

As a security protection officer, you will work within the area of security protection services. You will participate in the planning and implementation of security protection services. You will primarily work with tasks related to personnel security, security protection planning, information security, and physical security. As an officer in the staff, you will independently handle ongoing cases and prepare them for decision. You will also participate as a representative of the security department in joint preparations within the staff and in various working groups. You will support operational practitioners in various matters related to security protection, e.g., security protection planning. You will also independently or together with others train personnel in security protection.

Qualifications

You who are applying should have:

• Good experience working with the MS Office tool
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing
• Swedish citizenship
• Class B driver's license

Desirable

• Training in security service at FM UndSäkC or equivalent training in the area of security protection, e.g., Course for Officers in Security Protection Service (KHS) or Security Officer Course (SOK) at FM UndSäkC
• Experience of service in military security service at tactical or regional level or in a corresponding area at another authority.
• Experience of working in ISUS

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is interested in developing within your own area of responsibility and has the desire to influence the development within the unit as a whole. You are used to working independently, see what needs to be done, and take your own initiatives. The work involves handling security protection classified information, which requires you to be responsible and have a high personal integrity. Thanks to your analytical ability, you can manage complex and time-critical tasks and prioritize between them. It is natural for you to work in a structured manner, to be meticulous, and to have a good sense of order. You have good collaboration skills and the ability to develop and maintain good relationships both within and outside the organization.

The security protection service within the Armed Forces is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations in the area of security protection, and you have good knowledge of these.

As we sometimes have tasks located outside the office, you need to be able to travel and sometimes stay overnight at another location.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other

The employment form is a civilian permanent position full-time, starting with a 6-month probationary period for candidates who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces. The place of employment is Örebro. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Business trips occur and are usually planned.
