JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a summer job where you can contribute to the whole? Then you have come to the right place!

As a Warehouse Administrator, you and your colleagues form an important support function for the rest of the operation. Your tasks include administering client cases regarding clients' possession of personal belongings. You also package and manage clients' personal belongings. In this role, you are also responsible for the receipt and delivery of goods to Kumla Prison, internal distribution within the operational area, and inventory management. The work is physically demanding as some heavy lifting is involved. Driving may also be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a Warehouse Administrator, it is important that you take responsibility for your tasks, are meticulous, and have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work independently. You remain calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions with others. You work well with others and can easily adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize your work. It is also important that you have the ability to assess information and various types of considerations.

It is crucial that you share Kriminalvården's fundamental values of a humane view of humanity, respect for the individual, and belief in people's will and ability to develop. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to ensuring that everyone is treated equally through your approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Work experience, including seasonal work, hourly employment, or self-employment. Internships and volunteer work are not considered equivalent to employment.
• Complete upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience deemed relevant by KV.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Good computer skills.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience from warehousing and/or inventory work.
• Experience working within the correctional services.
• Driver's license for manual transmission.
