About the role

Securitas Contact Center is our emergency phone service that helps our customers regardless of the day of the year or time of day. As Operators at the Contact Center, you will become an important part of our safety and security operations where you will receive incoming calls and ensure that the right action is taken for each situation. You will work according to pre-established guidelines that have been developed in agreement with the customer and ensure that our customers and our customers' customers are taken care of in the right way.

Examples of telephone services that the Contact Center handles

• Property emergency
• Parking emergency
• Safety emergency
• Crises emergency

Your responsibilities include:

• Receiving and assessing incoming calls
• Prioritizing and initiating the right action quickly and accurately
• Acting as support in acute and stressful situations
• Maintaining close communication with guards in the field
• Ensuring high service and safety for both customers and guards

Working hours and employment form

We are looking for several colleagues to start immediately for both part-time and on-call positions.

As a part-time employee, you will work according to a fixed schedule of approximately 100 hours per month, which corresponds to about 70%. We are looking for three part-time colleagues with working hours scheduled for afternoon/night, approximately 3 PM–11 PM or 5 PM–12 AM. Starting in April, the 70% will apply with a fixed schedule. The employment extends until the end of September and follows a 5:2 schedule, which means work every other weekend.

For the on-call position, we are looking for colleagues who can work up to full-time during the summer (June–August). During the summer, you will work according to a fixed schedule, while working hours otherwise may vary and be scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends. For full-time work, a 5:2 schedule applies with work every other weekend.

For the right person, there are good opportunities for continued full-time work after the summer, or continued work as needed.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements for the position

• Approved grades in Swedish from high school
• You must be at least 18 years old

It is meritorious if you

• Have experience in telephone-based communication
• Have experience in the security industry

Since you will use a computer as your primary tool, we also prefer that you have good computer skills. Experience working in various types of systems while talking to customers will be advantageous in this role.

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, able to handle periods of high work pace. We also hope that you have a strong interest in technology and find it easy to understand instructions.

Since you will have significant responsibilities in your role, but also work very closely with both customers and colleagues, we believe you can work both independently and in a team. Taking responsibility comes naturally to you – you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes those around you feel safe.
