We are now looking for a Data Engineer who wants to be part of our client's digitalization journey and work in an innovative team with integration, analysis, and visualization! - We are working with ongoing selection.

Our client owns, develops, and manages larger properties in Sweden. The focus is on creating modern, functional, and sustainable environments for research and innovation. You will belong to a smaller team of individuals developing data-driven solutions for space optimization and energy efficiency. By collecting and analyzing sensor data, operations and utilization rates are optimized.

As a Data Engineer, you will work broadly with data collection, modeling, analysis, and visualization. You will be a key person in the development of the company's data infrastructure and also contribute to further developing tools for business analysis in Power BI & Microsoft Fabric.

More specifically, you will:

• Work collaboratively in a team responsible for data integration and visualization in Power BI.
• Participate in a varied and cross-functional work that includes database management (SQL).
• Work with development and analysis in Python, Azure.
• You will be involved in projects where multiple departments collaborate, such as IT, operations, and system management.

• A post-secondary education in data science, system development, or a related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in a similar role.
• Very good knowledge of Power BI and SQL.
• Leadership skills based on project work.
• Good understanding of Azure, Python.
• Fluent in Swedish as this is used in daily work.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday with the ambition to eventually become a permanent employee with our client.
