Our Operations
The Department of Hematology and Oncology is located in the new care building, entrance 100/101 at Dag Hammarskjölds väg. The department has modern facilities with single rooms, new information and communication technology systems, and separated professional and public flows. The new building is equipped with the latest medical technology, including Sweden's first MR-linac that combines a linear accelerator with imaging diagnostics. The new construction gives us new opportunities to co-locate the Department of Hematology and Oncology with the Department of Imaging and Functional Medicine, which provides new collaboration opportunities with significant potential patient benefits.

Even though the hospital is large, the distance between our various specialties is never far. Here, you will also have the opportunity to develop through stimulating meetings with colleagues and patients, as well as through mentoring medical students. Together, we create a challenging and developing workplace where freedom under responsibility is a natural part.
