We are now looking for a positive and flexible district nurse for our adult clinic at Gottsunda Health Center. We offer a permanent position at 100% with start date according to agreement.

Your mission

As a district nurse at the adult clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied clinical workload. The position includes standard district nurse tasks such as teamwork, own clinic, e-services, and telephone counseling.

In the role of district nurse with us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center. In addition to regular staff, several psychologists and social workers, physiotherapists, and dietitians work here. We focus on the patient, and we hope you are interested in health promotion work. We offer video visits and make home visits as needed. For us, continuing education is important, and we invest in good supervision for our future colleagues.

Your competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse.

We are looking for someone who is positive and solution-oriented in their work. You have a good ability to collaborate, while also having the experience and drive to work independently. You are a good communicator in Swedish both in speech and writing. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively, and to be successful in the job, you need to be flexible in your working methods. You see the challenge and joy in following your patients over time.

Our operations

Gottsunda Health Center is located in nice premises in Gottsunda center in the southwestern part of Uppsala. We have about 14,000 registered patients and approximately 60 employees. Our operations are broad, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented, including child healthcare, maternity care, and youth clinics. The child healthcare service is one of Uppsala's largest with about 1550 registered children. Gottsunda Child Healthcare is part of the Family Center located here, which we see as positive for both the children, families, and employees. What distinguishes us is a good working climate based on diversity, and we are particularly passionate about the vulnerable in society. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which we believe makes the work with us extra varied and interesting.

The operations belong to the department of Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala. We want you to thrive and develop with us.
