Investigations, Decision-Making, and Teamwork

As a benefits investigator, you have an important mission: to help citizens ensure that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. You provide individuals with the means to have an overview and feel secure in all contacts with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Contact occurs via phone and in writing. In your work, you conduct qualified investigations and subsequently make decisions. Each individual has a unique situation that needs to be addressed based on their specific needs. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a strong sense of security.

In your work, you will meet parents with seriously ill children or children who have passed away and investigate their right to temporary parental benefit. Within temporary parental benefit, especially investigation-intensive, you will make an insurance medical assessment with the support of an insurance medical advisor. You will collaborate with healthcare.

  • has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • is stable and trustworthy

  • has a systematic and meticulous working method

  • has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • is computer literate.

It is advantageous if you

  • have worked with qualified investigations and made decisions that affect individuals
  • have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in various life situations.

Several positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. There is an opportunity for remote work if the job allows.
