About the Assignment

In this role, you will work with business, projects, and relationships related to Saab's products. You will be responsible for collaboration and long-term relationships with their strategic suppliers, ensuring their engagement with Saab. Your work includes both purchasing in ongoing projects and strategic planning for new projects, where you will closely collaborate with Saab's technical and engineering teams.

As a Strategic Buyer, you may also take on the role of project manager within sourcing for larger projects. An important part of your role is to initiate and drive development and improvements within your area of responsibility to meet future challenges. The role gives you the opportunity to build a broad professional network – not only with their suppliers but also with customers and colleagues throughout the Saab organization.

About You

We are looking for someone with solid experience in strategic sourcing and a strong commercial background. You are an engaged and structured person who thrives in a role where business acumen and long-term relationships are the focus. Your working style is characterized by precision and determination, and you have a natural ability to build and maintain lasting relationships, both with Saab's suppliers and internal partners.

To succeed in this role, it is important that you appreciate collaboration and have an easy time creating trust and engagement in your contacts. Your perseverance and strategic thinking are crucial for driving successful projects and business. We prefer that you have an MBA, a master's degree in engineering, a law degree, or equivalent education. Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
