Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are permeated by the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

Provider LSS and Social Psychiatry

The Provider LSS and Social Psychiatry with over 400 permanent employees is a service aimed at children, youth, and adults. We are governed by LSS, SoL, and HSL and have implementation responsibility for interventions regulated by these laws. The operation is characterized by putting the individual at the center and collaborating to meet the individual's needs. The operation has a strong customer focus, good service spirit, and provides conditions for cross-border work that is both inspiring and skill-developing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Relief service in the home is an LSS intervention aimed at relieving relatives or close ones in caregiving, the intervention is performed in the home or in the local environment.

In one assignment, it involves taking care of a 4-year-old child; important qualities for you as a relief worker are that you are calm, in good physical shape as the job involves physical tasks such as lifting, and enjoy working alone as the job only involves solo shifts.

In the other assignment, it involves taking care of/supporting an 11-year-old child; important qualities for you as a relief worker are that you are calm, can be low-key but also responsive in play and can participate in role-playing, a plus if you have an interest in video games and/or natural sciences.

In both assignments, the working hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends, and the workplace is Borensberg. You will be employed with us as either a support assistant or a personal assistant depending on your education.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education from the Child and Leisure Program or the Health and Care Program is considered meritorious.
