School Nurse Wanted for a Safe School Environment

Do you want to work as a school nurse in a small, safe school environment where you can make a real difference? We are now looking for a school nurse for 20% (permanent or temporary), with the option to choose your focus – either towards our introductory program (IM) at high school or Arthur Engberg (primary and middle school).

About the Role

The position is 20% and can be adapted based on your skills, experience, and interests. You will be an important part of the school's health team and work health-promoting and preventive in close collaboration with students, educators, and guardians.

Responsibilities include:

• Vaccinations
• Health visits
• Health follow-ups
• Basic healthcare interventions
• Collaboration with the health team

Who Are You?/Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who always puts the student first, who is attentive, caring, and engaged. You have a professional demeanor and a good ability to work independently, structured, and organized. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills. You act professionally, solution-oriented, and take responsibility. You have good self-awareness in your professional role and seek support from your colleagues when needed. You have good communication skills, are secure and stable. You thrive in a smaller organization, and your ability to build trusting relationships makes you an important person for the students.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in health and medical care for children and adolescents, school nurse training, or district nurse training.

You have a genuine interest in the health and development of children and adolescents. You have good ability to communicate and express yourself clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You are computer literate (our documentation is done in the PMO journal system).

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working as a school nurse.
