Gråberget's Care and Nursing Home is located in Majorna. Here you can find one of Gothenburg's most beautiful views overlooking the Älvsborg Bridge. There are apartments for residents in need of general care and for residents with dementia. In total, there are 56 apartments here.

In your work, you start from the strengths of the residents and utilize the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the residents based on their individual conditions in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home.

Your tasks include everything from personal care, support during meals, encouragement and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed staff. You are also a contact person who helps the resident articulate their needs and wishes.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate of protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced.

Further education in care and nursing is advantageous. Experience from previous care and nursing work is desirable but not a requirement. The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.

In your role, you will meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your meetings, and always have the residents' best interests in focus. The workday can sometimes be different from what was planned because you work with people, so you maintain calm, balance various demands, and reprioritize your tasks.
