Dietitian for Outpatient Clinic BUP, EAST/WEST

NU Health Care is part of the Västra Götaland Region and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area includes 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, and our area offers varied nature with both sea, mountains, forests, and lakes.

BUP currently consists of outpatient care EAST and WEST, which includes the clinics in Uddevalla and Trollhättan.

We work in teams consisting of nurses, psychologists, social workers, special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, secretaries, doctors, team leaders, and unit managers. Our mission is to treat children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health issues.

Job Responsibilities

As a dietitian, you will be responsible for specific questions regarding nutrition and provide general and specific dietary advice. The work includes making assessments, prescribing, and providing food for specific nutritional purposes. Collaboration is an important part of your daily work, as well as documentation in the Melior journal system. The work is located both at the clinic in Trollhättan and in Uddevalla.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed dietitian, which is also a requirement for the position. As a person, we prefer that you are positive, development-oriented, and enjoy working both independently and in a team with both adults and children and their guardians. You have a natural ability to meet/treat and inform patients in a trustworthy manner. Previous experience working in psychiatry is also an advantage.
