WHAT DOES YOUR ROLE AS A NURSING ASSISTANT ENTAIL?

Your tasks include personal care, daily chores, medication management, and various responsibilities. You actively work with contact person assignments, implementation plans, and social documentation where good relationships and a salutogenic approach are in focus.

We work with BPSD (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia), which is a method to alleviate/reduce behavioral symptoms in dementia. We have activities, entertainment, walks, etc., with our residents during the day. Welcome to a workplace with an open and welcoming culture!

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You who are applying are/have:

• trained nursing assistant
• experience in social care, health and medical interventions for the elderly, and experience working with people with dementia diagnoses
• good computer and documentation skills
• good at expressing yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing

It is meritorious if you are/have:

• experience in dementia care
• experience in receiving delegated tasks from licensed personnel
• specialist nursing assistant training in dementia or palliative care
• documented experience in working with contact person assignments and individual implementation plans.

You are a trained nursing assistant with a genuine interest in people and care. As a person, you are curious and open to learning more. You have the ability to read people, adapt your behavior, and act professionally in every situation. Creating positive encounters for both users and relatives comes naturally to you.

You take your own initiatives and are happy to come up with new ideas and suggestions. If your colleagues were to describe you, they would say that others feel safe with you and that you instill confidence. You care about contributing to a positive atmosphere in your team and collectively creating a good working environment.
